MHHE has an opening for aSponsoring Editor forMajors Biology/Cell/Molecular Biology in our Dubuque, IA office.

Responsibilities:
* Work with Publisher and executivesenior editorialmanagement team to develop short term and long term strategic and revenue goals for the publishing program
* Maintain and strengthen working relationships with authors through frequent contact
* Work with product team and authors to create solid, customer driven, executable product development plans for print and digital products
* Work with internal digital development group and outside vendors to create and deliver complimentary digital products and strategies
* Create and manage effective market and product development programs to create successful products.
* Work with all appropriate company personnel to guide the timely and profitable publication of completed content
* Supervise the training and job performance of development staff

* Bachelor's degree; Masters preferred
* Minimum of three years relevant experience - in acquisitions, sales, or marketing
* Successful publishing sales experience
* Excellent analytical, financial and communication skills
* Technology background/understanding a plus
