TheManaging Director,Municipal Enterprise Group'smain function is to act as leader/subject matter expert in at least one asset class, charged with contributing to and facilitating the U.S. Municipal Enterprise Group's strategic vision as determined by the head of US Public Finance.

Essential Accountabilities:
* Oversee unit's overall credit ratings process by working closely with the quality and criteria functions.
* Responsible for fostering continual improvement, setting/maintaining high standards of performance.
* Ensure that the group's ratings are in compliance with all Company policies.
* Manage a broad range of people in the US.
* Contribute to the negotiation of pricing and other issues with clients, both internal and external. Participate as primary liaison between the assigned area and investors and issuers, assessing, answering and resolving client's non-analytical needs.

Responsible for allocation of appropriate resources to departmental tasks.

Envisions the future market, evaluates opportunities, and positions the group to take advantage of related trends; recognizes/seizes market and new product opportunities; outlines/coordinates identified project plans and follows through to completion.



Extensive track record of analytical excellence and analytical criteria and process subject matter expertise.
Able to demonstrate independence and objectivity.
Possesses general management skill sets with focus on strategy and execution.
Extensive current knowledge of Public Finance ratings and understanding of risks (both issue/issuer business and ratings) and regulatory requirements to enable appropriate assessment of parameters and provide guidance, especially in complex areas. Must have in depth knowledge of the procedures and methodologies used for determining credit ratings, including qualitative and quantitative models.
Leadership skills and change management attitude - the capacity to challenge views, processes, and behaviors, especially in complex areas.
Ability to effectively influence in a matrix organization.
Graduate degree in Business, Finance, Law, or related field required.
10 years in credit analysis or equivalent inside or outside of rating agencies.
Excellent public speaking and writing skills.
Prior managerial experience.
